Plastic surgery (ancient Greek: plastein - form, shape, shape) performs form-altering and restorative procedures. This leads to the improvement of the body shape and function, since predominantly visible body regions are affected. This improves self-esteem and positively affects the social position of those affected.
In our clinic, operations in the field of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery are performed by specialists, such as: Facelifting, nose and chin corrections as well as breast surgery, liposuction and much more.

2. Anesthesia
The anesthesia of our clinic is managed and supervised by experienced and state-of-the-art colleagues. The focus is on the well-being of patients with individual care. Depending on the type of procedure and also on the request of the patient, all forms of today's anesthesia are performed. These include general anesthesia with mask, laryngeal mask or intubation, volatile or intravenous, regional anesthesia with local anesthesia, conduction block, spinal or epidural anesthesia.
Anesthesia that helps the patient and gives them a feeling of security, postoperative monitoring by anesthetists and nursing staff is an essential part of today's surgical care. Thus, in addition to the highest possible safety, a comfortable and almost painless course of a surgical procedure is guaranteed for our patients.

3. Pain therapy
Pain - especially "chronic pain" - is a widespread problem in the population, which leads to enormous burden on the patients.
In Austria, more than 20% of adults suffer from chronic pain, which is around 1.7 million people.
The treatment of pain patients requires a corresponding expertise and multidisciplinary cooperation in order to ensure a reliable diagnosis, clarification and corresponding treatment of pain patients. We address this problem and have therefore founded the first nerve pain center in Styria in the Schwarzl Clinic.

4. Orthopaedic surgery
In the field of surgery of the musculoskeletal system, a variety of surgical methods is required. Due to state-of-the-art surgical methods, many interventions can be offered without any problems during the daytime, so that patients are released into home care on the evening of the operating day in order to be able to continue the further healing process in their usual environment.
We have an experienced medical team, which not only cares about the provision of preventive care, but also the outpatient care of our patients.
We have a wealth of experience in this area, which we use in daily practice with the best possible results. If conservative treatment methods do not lead to the desired healing or palliation success, the decision is made to undergo surgical intervention. In particular, endoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery, has brought great progress in this area for both healing and progression. Patients often experience noticeable improvements in a short time and the associated risk has been minimized as well.
With modern endoscopy units, all larger and smaller joints can be minimally invasively operated at the highest level, so that these procedures can be offered on a day-clinic basis at Schwarzl Klinik.
