How does the billing work?

The Private Hospital Leech offers a direct billing with many statutory health insurance carriers, with all Austrian private health insurers as well as many foreign insurance companies. Self-pay patients from Germany and abroad receive an individually tailored offer in advance and can decide in peace and with cost certainty for a treatment in the Private Hospital Leech. Sick leave?

You are on sick leave from the date of admission to the Private Hospital Leech, which means that after your release, you need to immediately contact your family doctor, or your health insurance, to notify them about your health status.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Patients who do not have private insurance (self-payer) will be asked upon admission to pay a deposit according to the cost estimate. The deposited amount will be set off against us in the final bill! Read more about it here!
